Mike C. Brown of the Nashville Sounds has just enjoyed one of the better weeks of his career. That fact was not lost on American Association officials, who named him Player of the Week.

Brown logged a .577 batting average for the Nashville Sounds, racking up 10 RBIs and 3 home runs.

Brown is hitting .333 this season with 15 home runs, 94 RBIs and 80 runs scored. He has 145 hits in 435 at-bats.
