Neagle Shuts Out Bears Sunday, August 11th, 1991 22-year-old Omaha Royals pitcher Denny Neagle had a strong outing against the Denver Bears at Rosenblatt Stadium today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 13 in the 8-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 2 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said.
