McRae Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games

The hot bat of 89ers left fielder Brian McRae continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 2-for-5 in today's 9-8 loss to the Gulls at Derks Field.
"I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in."
Brian McRae struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
Presently McRae is batting .274 and has collected 1 home run, 17 RBIs, .341 OBP and scored 21 runs.
