Super Swinger -- Householder Slams 5 Hits Sunday, August 18th, 1991 Paul Householder had an answer for everything the Oklahoma City 89ers threw at him today at All Sports Stadium. The El Paso left fielder went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Diablos on top, 17-10. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Householder said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Paul Householder hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Bob L. Gibson in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 9th.
