While they were already on the outside looking on to the 1991 playoff chase, today the Salt Lake City Gulls have mathematically been eliminated from contention.

The Gulls have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 15 years as a Clemente Baseball League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1986. In the last 10 seasons, the Gulls have missed the playoffs 9 times.
