Beavers End Grebeck's Streak

It was the best of both worlds for the Kalihi Beavers today at Memorial Stadium, as they defeated the Pauoa Waves 4-2 and also snapped Craig Grebeck's 0-game hitting streak. The 26-year-old Pauoa third baseman failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats.
"Nothing personal against Grebeck, we just wanted to win the game," said Beavers skipper . "We did a great job keeping him off-balance and guessing."
When asked by reporters about his streak coming to an end, Grebeck frowned and said, "I won't lie and say that I'm not disappointed about it, but I'd feel much better if we had won."
