Waikiki Halts Carr's Hitting Steak

Pauoa left fielder Chuck Carr experienced something against the Waikiki Suns he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game.
The Suns pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 1 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Waves to a 4-2 victory at Memorial Stadium.
"Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 1-game hitting streak," Carr joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories."
So far this year, Carr is batting .382 with no home runs and 2 RBIs.
