Thomas Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Thursday, August 29th, 1991 It was a parade of hits for Andres Thomas of the Greensboro Bats at Met Park today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Thomas finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Bats to a 5-4 victory. "Thomas was really good and we were really bad," groaned Tides manager Tidewater z-Manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
